Well this past weekend was the big footy weekend of the year for Australia with both their rugby and Australian Rules Football finals this week. I watched the Aussie Rules final between Geelong and Port Adelaide and it ended up being the biggest Aussie Rules blowout I have ever seen with Geelong winning by over a hundred points. Than the Melbourne Storm went on to win the rugby final. So here in Victoria everyone has had a great sporting weekend with two Victorian teams winning each final.
However, there is one famous couple who did not have such a good weekend:
Kidman’s management team phoned the NRL earlier this week and asked for tickets to last night’s sell-out.
The NRL were happy to oblige, putting the Kidman camp in touch with Telstra Stadium officials.
The Hollywood stars refused 10 free tickets on the halfway line – instead demanding a private box. Telstra officials politely told the Kidman camp they might be better off watching it at home. [Daily Telegraph]
I love that the stadium blew them off with their ridiculous demands. They should have been happy with halfway line seats especially when they are free. I know I would have been.
